1. GENERAL INFORMATION

2. INSTALLATION MANUAL

Copy the file "bomberman.pk3" into the folder of "Return to Castle Wolfenstein. ". Start the game and go onto the option Multiplayergame. You can see a option to open an own game there. You find the Map with the name "Bomberman" in the list to the left below (quite at the end of the list). Select thist one and start the game. Just have fun!


3. BACKGROUND STORY

Our units captured parts of a enemy supply bunker. Because of the vehement resistance a further advancement is not possible. Previous attacks from the air failed because of the numerous air defence guns. Only possibility to get a free way for our plans is to destroy the power supply.
In order to destroy the generator room, we have a high explosive box of nitroglycerine, which explodes immediately, when it falls down in the generator-room. It is a suicide command and we thank you that you had volunteered ;)
Be careful! We think that also the enemy plans to knock out our defense positions. This must be prevented absolutely!


5. COMMENTS

As we cannot complete a planned Map of our team, becaus of chronological, i decided short-term three weeks before the Contest comes to an end to construct a own map. As a basis served a map, which i began at Q3-times, but i had never finished. After the first check Brushes presented, that the map looks a little too "gothic" and could not be employed. I had to begin from the beginning.
When the game idea points (to bring object into opposing base), i will constract a second Bomberman-Map. But i will take more time and build everything with more Details in the second Part.


6. EMPLOYED TEXTURES/SHADERS/MODELS

Textures/models of "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" are used in this Map. All further textures which are in the Bomberman-Folder were made by myself and/or converted from existing rtcw-textures. The scripts, pictures and ROQ-videos are made by myself.


7. KNOWN PROBLEMS

During the testing it puts out that the map is represented very darkly on some computers. Especially in some inside areas. After that, the lightvalues were set a little more highly by myself. This results, that the Map became too bright on other test computers :D, so i reduce the lightvalues.
Therefore my reference: Employing the Brightness-values to default in Wolfenstein and reduce the brightness an contrast of your monitor to 60 %.
The doors/gates to the generator-room can be destroyed with normal arms. This is so intended.


8. EXPRESSION OF THANKS

My special thanks goes to RedKnight and MoJo, for their checking for Errors in the map very often. And many thanks to the PlanetWolfenstein-Editing-Community, which always answers my questions in the forum (fast and good).


9. OTHER ONE

The Map was constructed in a periode of three weeks. The calculation time at Fullvis is 26 minutes. The R_Speeds in the Map are under the index value of 10.000 (average 5000). The FPS do not fall below the 60-Mark on my computer. The Map was tested and compiled on the following system: Athlon XP 2000+, 512 MB DDR, Asus Geforce 2 Ultra. For the performance-test a resolution of 1024x768 was chosen with maximum details.


10. COPYRIGHT

The map was constructed by myself. Modification or new releasing of my map is not allowed! But you can offer the map for a FREE/GRATIS download. If you want to make money with my map, you have to get my specially agreement. If you want to use one of my textures in your map, it would be nice, if you place a link to my homepage (www.fragpoint.de) in your Readme.
