*[Man With The Golden Gun beta 1]*
- A RTCW Mini Mod-
*[About]*
Man With The Golden Gun is a new Gametype for RTCWs
MP aspect. Everyone is the soldier class. They can choose
from all the weapons on the list. You will spawn with the
weapon you chose, 6 grenades, and a knife. No pistol ;).
Somewhere on the map is The Golden Gun. The Golden Gun
kills a player in one shot. It shoots very slow so shoot
wisely. Player with the most kills by the time
the clock ends wins.
*[Un/Install]*
Extract asc-mwtgg-a1.zip to the folder.
If RTCW is NOT installed to C:\Program Files\Return to
Castle Wolfenstein then you MUST edit MWTGG.EXE. Right click
it and choose 'Properties'. Where is says 'Target'put the path
of where RTCW is installed in the quotes. Outside the quotes
make sure to keep +set fs_game mwtgg.
To uninstall simply delete the mwtgg folder.:)
*[Bugs]*
Well its alpha 1. What do you expect?
-The coding is very rough for alpha 1. I removed
the 'Axis' button at the team selection and replaced 'Allies'
with the word 'Battle'. Don't use a stupid ass bind to join
the Axis team. You'll just ruin it for everyone. I plan to fix
that in a later release.
-I only have this shitty map to work with. Please send
your maps for the next release. Make a map with no objectives,
and put the Luger some where on the map.
-You must drop your current weapon to pick up the Golden
Gun. I guess that's a bug.
-The Golden Gun respawns! That's probably easy to fix
so by next release you'll be all set. If you get the Golden Gun
first, I would guard the next respawned one.
-The last screen still says 'Allies Win'. Just ignore it
and look at the scoreboard.
-I just erased the buttons to choose other classes. Again,
don't use a bind to switch...mostly because it's pointless.
-Problem with loading map. Read more at 'Getting Started'.
-Stupid 'was killed by TEAMMATE' text appears.
-Probably other stuff that I can't think of.
*[Getting Started]*
Ok now since this is an alpha, things are pretty rough. If
you are going to Host, set gametype to WolfMP. Friendly Fire
MUST be on. Don't forget it. Turn Enable Voting/Pure Server and
Punkbuster to NO. Also set Even teams to NO!This is a very import
thing you must do. On the map selection screen, it'll say
'MWTGG Alpha Test Map'. However, I no shit about how maps work.
It goes to the Main Menu if you select it. So what you must do is
select anymap. Once the game loads, pop up the console (`) and type
/map mp_test. This will load the test map.
Joining a game should be the same. Just make sure you have
everything installed. Check the 'Modifications' forum at
Planetwolfenstein.com to see when I'll be hosting games. Just
put my IP on favorites.

More maps, skins, etc. Better UI and other shit. Fixing all
the bugs will be nice also I guess.:)
