A tool to promote a text from a textfile to your running Quake Wars Dedidacated Server in a specific interval. The Quake Wars Promoter runs from any place, you don't have to run it on your server.

Download 

Usage: QWPromoter.exe [textfile] [delay in seconds] [ip] [port] [password] 

Example: QWPromoter.exe mytext.txt 60 127.0.0.1 27733 mypassword 

This will promote the content of mytext.txt every minute on the server which is running on localhost with port 27733 and configured with:

net_serverRemoteConsolePassword "mypassword"

option in your server.cfg

This tool is written in .NET and works on Windows and Linux (with Mono).

This tool requires the .NET Framework 2.0!

Running on Linux:
This requires the latest mono package ( >= version 1.2x) to be installed and working.
On a debian like system type: 

apt-get install mono

Usage: mono QWPromoter.exe [textfile] [delay in seconds] [ip] [port] [password]
