This is Beta 2 of "Teamjungle", a single-objective document grab/delivery map. Strogg are attacking, GDF defend the documents. The PK4 is 26mb including an updated 8k x 8k Megatexture. Updates and changes since Beta 1: ?Transmission for the primary objective is now about 4 seconds instead of the original instant transmit. Should give GDF a bit of time to catch up if needed. ?Added a secondary "destroy" objective in the form of a cave tunnel system blocked by a rock wall. Strogg can plant an HE Charge on this rock wall to get a second access route to the objective. ?Added a couple of rope bridges to allow more routes across the higher ground. ?There is now only one single deploy spot per team, so choose deployable wisely! ?GDF no longer parachute in, they spawn on the ground. ?Added Strogg and GDF high command VO to help describe objective clearly. ?Smoothed out the terrain here and there for easier movement. ?Rudimentary bot support added. They won't win anything (I don't even think they can reach the objective!) but they should run around a bit and shoot at you. ?Added more vegetation, STUFF distribution and pretty waterfalls! Known issues: ?The commandmap is out of date, it doesn't show the rope bridges or the cave system. ?The VO for the cave rock wall destruction is inverted (since I'm re-using the "Barricade" VO from Refinery) - but it still gives the correct idea of when the objective is done. ?Ambient sound is way too loud. I need to tweak that stuff a fair bit, but I don't think it gets in the way too much for now. ?The cave tunnel system is Megatextured, which is not really very optimal - as a result the cave walls are very blurry. I will try to find a nice solution to this later since it'd be cool to try Megatexturing an interior terrain section Important note on Megatexture extraction! If you are downloading this manually for the first time, you will need to extract the file teamjungle_lit.dat from the "megatextures" folder in the PK4 (use a zip program to open it). Extract it to your ETQW base/megatextures folder and rename the file extension to ".mega". If you've downloaded Beta 1 of this map, please overwrite the old .mega file with the new one extracted from the Beta 2 pk4. If you join a server hosting this map, then it should automatically download and extract the .mega file for you. MoP
