Description: This is not really an attempt of me to make a playable multiplayermap for rtcw.
The reason i made this map is that i loved the original wolfenstein 3d and wanted to port
the "feeling" on rtcw. This map is exactly the first level of the first episode in "Wolfenstein 3D".
Perhaps some of you will still remember that map. That gives you an advantage, because all original
"secrets" had also been transformed. Due to the fact that this should also be somehow playable as a
multiplayermap i maded some changes in the original layout, concerning the obstacles. I added some
obstacles to give a team more cover in the nearly plain wolf-hallways.
For the Textures, i found a great texturepack of hi-res Wolfenstein3D-textures,
check out http://wolfgl.narod.ru/ , this crazy guy ported old wolf3d to windows, i was impressed
by his work, many thanks to this guy, because without him all textures would be MUCH more blurry.
I also exported original sounds from Wolfenstein3D, as you will hear when opening a door,
i used original wolfenstein3d-sounds for the doors and the secrets and added some hint buttons,
which will play some other sounds from wolfenstein3d.

A word to the graphics:
As you may notice, all pictures containing swastikas had been flipped. This is due to the german
law (after all, im a german and live in germany), it is not allowed to put nazi-symbols in
a computergame here. And because this map is somehow part of a computergame and i wanted to keep
the original texturing, i flipped them. well now the question can come up "is a flipped swastika
still a swastika" and im really not sure about the german law concerning swastikas put into a
usermade-map, but that flipping should do its job.

For a close look, a jpg-file with a mapoverview is included.

After all, hope you will enjoy the timeride ^^
