Authors : Stealth' & Cambo ------------------------------------------------- Map Information ------------------------------------------------- Game : Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Title : TDM_Prefab Filename : TDM_Prefab.pk3 Release date : 12/01/2010 Decription : This is a Team Death Match Prefab. The file contains an example map with 32 spawns on each side (allies / axis) and 2 scoreboards. The script is pretty well documented and more info can be found in the ReadMe.txt The Map ends when either team has 10000 respawns (frags) so the scoreboard goes until 9999 for both sides. If the time runs out before a team reaches 10000 respawns (which is most likely the case) the map script figures out who has the most respawns, if both teams have an equal amount of respawns it's a draw! (how boring :P) Program : NetRadiant Notepad ------------------------------------------------- Mappers Info: ------------------------------------------------- -The .map file can be found inside the pk3 under maps. -All other files can be found in the pk3 aswell under the respective paths. -If you want more scoreboards just select the elements of one of them and just copy it (spacebar) (I used remapshader so it would be easier to duplicate scoreboards) Alternatively if you want to create your own scoreboard then do so and apply the textures: -alscore0 for the allied 1-9 -alscore00 for the allied 10-90 -alscore000 for the allied 100-900 -alscore0000 for the allied 1000-9000 -axscore0 for the axis 1-9 -axscore00 for the axis 10-90 -axscore000 for the axis 100-900 -axscore0000 for the axis 1000-9000 so it looks like this: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | AXIS KILLS ALLIES | | alscore0000 | alscore000 | alscore00 | alscore0|| axscore0000 | axscore000 | axscore00 | axscore0 | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The allied scorecards are under the AXIS title because the scorecards stand for spawns. So when an allied player spawns it counts as a frag for AXIS. Same for allies, the scorecards count the axis spawns. -If you want to replace the numbers you can find them in: textures/fragboard Do mind that you keep the same names though so replace the old files (score0, score1, etc) If you change these names it won't work since the shader uses these names. (psd file included) -The axis, allies and kill text in the scoreboard is pure eyecandy (it can be deleted) -I included some VERY basic waypoints in the pk3 so you can test it out with bots. Omni-bot wiki: http://www.omni-bot.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page ------------------------------------------------- Known 'Bugs': ------------------------------------------------- -The system doesn't actually count kills or deaths it counts respawns, so: - selfkill also counts + 1 - Changing team counts + 2 - Joining a team counts +2 - Initial start of map +2 during warmup + 1 if connect during warmup (I think) Why it does +2 for some of these events I have no idea, and i don't think it can be fixed. But if you think about it these events only count for max 10% of score in a busy server so not too bad. (will hardly effect result, unless you have a griefer) ------------------------------------------------- Credits: ------------------------------------------------- - Stealth': Making the prefab - Cambo: Explaining Zer0Cool's method and debugging script - Zer0Cool: Supplying the method to count spawns - Splashdamage forums http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/index.php : General brainstorming
